Salik toll system
How Salik works
Salik gates on Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Garhoud Bridge, Al Maktoum Bridge, and other corridors charge AED 4 per passage (2024 rate). A Salik tag on the windshield deducts from a prepaid account. Rental cars usually include a tag; confirm balance.
Parking
RTA paid parking
Standard zones: AED 2–4/hour depending on zone (premium zones higher). Pay via RTA mParking app, SMS, or parking meter. Display is not required with app/SMS confirmation.
